if the guys are directing traffic at the ramp they will pick you up after parking and take you to the ramp. |

Bob, sorry I missed your question regarding the ramp, busy running people back and forth there the last few days, ha, ha. We have an attendant there on all but Tuesday and Thursday. The procedure is to get in line, launch your boat, take it to the courtesy dock, then you run your trailer to the parking space or the overflow parking area. When you return you do the opposite, tie up at the dock, we run you over, then you line up for retrieval. Sometimes if the ramp isn't busy though we may change it up a bit. The instructions are posted at the ramp and on the dock. Big thing is for everyone to follow the posted procedures and it all goes smooth (until a sinking or broke down boat gets in the mix) Note: if you have an oversized trailer we do ask that you take it to the overflow due to the fact that too large of trailers in the ramp lot makes it hard to keep an efficient travel flow and blocks the lanes. The ramp guy is normally there from 6 to 7 AM until 3:30 to 4 PM. This service is a courtesy to the ramp users that the marina provides for free to make things easier for the users, something that would be nice at the other F&W ramps, don't ya think. |

I am the Assistant Manager of IRM and I do work the ramp when it's busy on the weekends as do a few other of the staff. Normally Lee is the guy on the ramp with the Blue and White cart. |
