Heading to Bermuda in a few weeks, as my wife's company is treating some top performers to a few days on the island. I am having a tough time finding information on deep water charters. (no responses to emails from captains) I have six guys from the group lined up. Anyone ever fish (charter) out there or know someone I can call to get some information? Thanks, MM Tide Runner on the Side! Matt

Without a doubt call Captain James on the wound up. last two years he's caught the largest Blue. Tell him Vince aka Black Bart recommended ya. He'll hook you up and take care of everything! Awesome dude who just flat out catches! woundupbermuda.com

Thanks Vince... I talked with James yesterday. He said he appreciated the referral. He was booked for our dates but after several attempts I have landed a day on the Megabucks. Looking forward to it. I understand one of the boat landed a 1,000 # blue marlin yesterday. Sweet! Tide Runner on the Side! Matt

If you want to target a grander - Bermuda is the place! Also if you want to target meat fish (tuna and wahoo) make sure you tell Sinclair that, if memeory serves me right - he prefers bill fishing over everything else. Its possible to catch 25-30 wahoo in one trip with mahi and yft sprinkled in for fun. But the marlin you only get a couple chances per trip. In either case you are going during their prime time and should have a blast. I look forward to reading the report and pictures! My wife and I just returned from Bermuda... we booked a charter on the "Knock Down" with Captain Steve. We set out around 8:00 am targeting Wahoo - lines went in the water shortly after 9:00. Nothing but barracuda, so we went about 15 to 17 miles offshore and began trolling. Things were a little slow at first, but it wasn't long before the wahoo bite was on. We had multiple hook-ups at the same time... with wahoo ripping line from the reels in their very distinctive manner. Ended the day with 6 nice wahoo and a handful of barracuda. This was my wife's very first wahoo...
