I wandered down to Bowers early Sunday and talked with some folks then decided to take a ride north up RT 9. Started @ Pickering Beach then wandered the back end of the Little Creek Wildlife area. Found a ditch full of life then down to Port Mahon. It was Red Knot heaven with swarms of Shorebirds feasting on Horseshoe crab eggs. The road to Mahon wasn't to bad and the ramp was pretty busy.

Jay, good pictures. Too bad we can't compare your present pictures with pictures of the area from the 70s. There has been so much change.

Great pictures Jay. Thanks for sharing. Have you ever considered putting a book together. You just could be the next Kevin Fleming.

Thanks all. I am glad you enjoy the Pixs. Walt, I have a long way to go to achieve the quality of Kevin (and son Jay) Fleming. As a far as a book goes....
I may do a Saltfish Calendar though. A free calendar with every 10 LF raffle tickets is an interesting concept.

Don't sell yourself short Jay. While you may not have the equipment to achieve the quality that the Flemings do, you definitely seem to have a talent for finding the right shots.

Jay your book would provide a pictorial view of the coast and all of its wonders. I think your pics are as good and better than most I've seen. Those pictures tell a story all on their own. I hope you do at least 1 book. In the meantime, please keep shooting and posting them.

Miki
